Mil Dot Reticle cross-hairs - Red and Green Illuminated

With red and green illumination options (you can have it turned off for normal black)

  • Red is very good in low light, dawn and dusk it gives you a much better contrast of the reticle against target and background - If all is black this is difficult. Red illumination makes it all sharp and clear.
  • Green is ideal in very bright conditions for the same reasons red is good in low light.

Developed by US Marine snipers in the 1970's the mil dot is one of the most popular all round hunting cross hairs types.

Mil dot is very popular in all areas of shooting, once you get the hang of it you can easily and quickly estimate ranges to targets and set aim points.

40mm Fully Multi Coated Lens:

  • A great medium-large size lens that gives you superb light capture and transmission resulting in a truly excellent view.
  • Fast target acquisition and moving target tracking.
  • Fully multi coated with emerald to protect and limit glare and reflections (looks) the business too.

3-9x variable magnification

  • A popular all round variable magnification that is especially well suited to air rifle shooting ranges.
  • Very easy and very fast dial adjustment.
  • Exceptional clarity through premium A grade camera quality lens.

You'll get crystal clear ocular focus at 5 yards on 3x. Parallax can be adjusted from 10 yards up.

Zero it with Windage and Elevation Turrets:

Parallax Focus Adjustment - AO - Adjustable Objective (front lens casing)

Parallax effect is the term that describes the difference in angles between objects that are seen up close and those seen far away. When you look at telephone poles passing by on the side of the road, those closest to your car seem to pass very fast, while the ones far away seem to go very slow. That difference is due to the parallax effect.

The reticle in your scope is like a telephone pole that's very close. If you move your head on the stock while watching the target through the scope the reticle may seem to move, wobble or blur against the target. That affects where you perceive the aim point to be, and that affects your accuracy. Parallax focus correction adjustment reduces this phenomenon to the greatest extent possible.

Parallax focus correction therefore is a must for anyone attempting to use either a high magnification scope, shooting drastically different yardages with the same scope or anyone attempting to shoot at extremely close ranges or extremely long ranges. Especially so if it is a combination of these factors.

This scope features Parallax focus correction starting at 10 yards

    • Parallax yard settings: 10yds/30 feet, 50 feet then in yards - 25, 50, 75, 100, 200, 300 and infinity.
    • Adjusted by the objective i.e., it is an AO "Adjustable Objective" scope.

Important note on parallax focus versus regular ocular focus

A common mistake is to use the parallax adjustment in an attempt to focus the reticle. The ocular end (eye piece) has a focus for the reticle. That is the sole purpose of the ocular focus. Returns have been caused by users attempting to use the reticle focus as an image focus and or using the parallax adjustment as a reticle focus. If you get both of them so far out of whack bad things will happen.

Only use the ocular focus to focus the reticle and only focus the reticle while looking through the scope at the sky. This will keep you from trying to focus an object instead of the reticle.

Ocular Focus (eyepiece) adjusts the scope to the individual shooter's eye... this is a one time adjustment. (For wearers of prescription lenses this could be a multiple procedure event if new prescription arrive.) The purpose of this adjustment is to adjust the scope so that the image of the reticle (crosshairs) is properly aligned with the back of the shooters eye.

Parallax focus adjusts the target to the reticle (crosshair). The target image and the reticle must be on the same focal plane within the scope or there is room for apparent movement of the reticle on the target when the shooters eye moves (or is positioned differently at the scope).

Terms, Guarantees, Refunds, Exchanges

Basically common sense. We need to have a "strict sounding" policy but are open and flexible and will always try our very best to make things as good and as easy as possible if there is a problem.

Within 30 days - Retail Guarantee
You can return a product for any reason within 30 days of arrival. Just return it unused, in the original undamaged packaging, in a saleable condition, with your receipt and we’ll give you a refund, replacement or exchange against a different product.

So if  you have any doubts about a product on arrival please keep all packaging, seals and shrink-wrap intact and, if they are present, do not remove any labels, or tags and accessories.

When posting back please do not put tape or labels on the goods packaging.

If either the goods or the packaging are not in a re-saleable state, then we may decline your exchange / refund request unless the return reason is due to defect.

Buyer is responsible for cost of return shipping unless the item is incorrect or defective.

Exchanges and swaps
Exchanges and replacements are processed within 4 days unless the required product is unavailable. In such a case we will inform you as soon as possible of the expected delay in the product, any possible alternatives or offer a refund if there is no acceptable alternative.

You will have to pay the difference if the goods you require are more expensive than your original order and we will refund you any difference if the goods you require are any cheaper than your original order. You are however responsible for return postal costs. Any items are your responsibility until they have been received by ourselves. Once we have completed your exchange, we will notify you via email (where applicable). We will always send replacement goods to your original shipping address, unless notified otherwise.

Faulty or incorrect products
When you receive your order please inspect it immediately and advise us of any problems within the 30 day guarantee period.

Refunds or replacements are given upon original item receipt and inspection of original item.

After the 30 day guarantee period we will help if at all possible and advise you how to enact warranty provisions from us, the prime supplier or manufacturer.

Most items have manufacturer warranty. If the goods become faulty through defective material, or poor workmanship, but not normal wear and tear, they should be returned for our inspection immediately. If necessary the item may have to be returned to the manufacturer for testing, which could take up to 28 days. In the event of faulty goods needing to be returned, you must ensure that the goods are suitably packaged and that they are accompanied by a clear printed letter of explanation and a copy of proof of purchase.

The cost of returning and replacing goods is not covered under warranty and must be met by the buyer if the return is AFTER the initial 30 days from arrival guarantee period.

Refunds
Refunds will normally be processed within 4 days (normally faster)
Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment and an email will be sent to confirm when this has been done.

We adhere to the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2014.
