This is a super rare McIntosh Mc-100 100 watt solid state amplifier.
Basically it is half of an Mc2100, but really, really rare: ONLY LESS THAN 400 were produced, making it one of the rarest and most desired McIntosh pieces.
Chrome looks great, lettering is great too. Cage is present. Paint has a few scratches on the trasformers as you can see from the pictures.

The sound is just great. This can be the killer center channel amplifier for a vintage or even a modern setup, subwoofer amp, guitar amp (probably the holy grail of solid state guitar amplifiers: same sound of the Mc2100 but in a portable package. That's why it was loved by Jerry Garcia and Les Paul!
Another option is to find a mate and making it the perfect stereo solid state vintage setup. Almost impossible to find another one. Well, this may be a lucky day because there is actually another Mc100 on Ebay right now! Search it and don't miss the chance to get them both.
The price may seem to be high, but this is a piece of amercican hifi history. Not many were produced and probably an handfull are leftafter almost 50 years.

I went through the amp to verify that the unit meets original specs. McIntosh Labs was so great to provide me an original Service Manual (that I will include in the sale).
