You are bidding on an unsmoked W.O LARSEN pipe, classic Danish style straight billiard,  made in Denmark.   This pipe shows a light, golden brown"Cognac" colored stain that nicely accentuates the well-defined mix of cross grain and birdseye that covers the entire bowl and shank.    Top of bowl shows a smooth finish and is in excellent condition.   The bowl itself shows some very nice cross grain and birdseye.   Classic Danish style "Billiard" shaped bowl with a straight and round shank.   The shank itself also shows the same, nicely defined cross grain/birsdeye mix.   Part of the nicely grained, uniquely shaped line of pipes with a distinct " Cognac " finish, made by W.O LARSEN.  This is a smaller sized pipe that really stands out by its lovely grain texture,  distinct finish and overall quality artisanship.  A very nice piece and an original play on an old classic by W.O LARSEN !!!  

This pipe is unsmoked and is in excellent condition.  Comes with the original pipe pouch, documentation and box. 

This pipe was taken care of by one of the oldest pipemakers in Montreal, now celebrating 108 years of pipe making ( est. 1907 ) ! 

 

Markings :

The mouthpiece is the original, shows the classic "LARSEN"  with crown.
