Welcome to Musicdungeon, you are bidding on a great piece. This is the Vintage Otari MX-5050-BQ-II Reel To Reel 4 Track Recorder. The BQ-II is legendary on the audiophile scene. This Otari features 4 XLR ins/outs on the back and 1/4" ins on the front. Mic & line each have their own volume control and each track has its own VU meter. Add to that Tape speed and pitch control and you have a real workhorse. This unit has been power tested as well as tested for mechanical performance. Was not sound-tested but we acquired this from a working studio where this Otari was in use and well cared for as you can see in the pics. This 5050 auction includes the manual w/schematics, empty reels, lubricant, spare tension guides, and reel adjusting disc. Whether you are listening to reels, recording, or transferring from reels, this is where you need to be. 3. For your protection, and ours, we ship everything fully insured. International orders over $650 please add $20 for full USPS insurance.

5. If an item is damaged in shipping- please keep all packing materials and contact us immediately so we can file a claim.
6. Unfortunately, we can no longer ship to the Russian Federation due to a high rate of theft.
7. Due to new USPS guidelines- certain countries will not accept USPS packages over 36". If that is the case, we can remove the neck or, if it is a set/neck-thru we can ship Fedex International for an additional charge.
8. Flat rate shipping is for continental USA only- all other territories will be calculated..
