This is a good Antique Silver Slim Oval Lidded Box. It is quite a small box but would be ideal for use for storing small trinkets, small pieces of jewellery, hair accessories or pins. It would also make a very good but large pill box (ideal if you have very large tablets to take or a large number that you have to carry around). It is of a very pretty shape and has a crisp coloured gilt interior and a hinged lid. It is made from a good guage of silver and has clear hallmarks, except for the makers marks, which although clear the smaller letters are a bit difficult to make out

Dimensions: Just over 3.5 inches long, 1.5 inches wide at its widest point and 0.75 inch tall. It weighs 44g

Condition: It is in very good condition with just some light surface scratching and a few little deeper scratches, but these are minor and to be expected on a metal item, but this is minor and commensurate with age and use

Remarks: This is a very good antique quite small solid silver lidded box, wich could have a number of uses
