We sell a large range of specialised lamps for the entertainment industries and we have listed the most common types we sell day to day on our Ebay store. If you do not see a lamp that you require listed, we shall be very pleased to do our best to source for you.

A VAT rated invoice will be enclosed with the consignment or emailed to your registered address

A note about our stock, and stock levels:

The majority of products that we list, are items we endeavour to keep good quantities in stock physically with us. In some cases we choose to send direct from a supplier, but only from a few suppliers we entrust to offer this service. We make this decision based on our stock level at the purchase point, and we would bear any extra carriage costs. There are also some larger items that we may only ever send from the manufacturer. As we are also a “walk in” trade counter we can sometimes sell out of some products to a customer that has visited us. This can be a rare occasion and we do our best to prevent this.

Some items that we list may be bespoke, and so needs to be put together in our workshop. You will be advised of the despatch date with these particular products. 

In all cases, the products we sell, are what we want to sell because we have either tried them, or used them in our own hire stock, or used in our own installations or had constructive feedback from customers.

A note about postage:

We aim to keep all costs low with you in mind, and for us to remain competitive. With our link to the entertainment industry, we are mindful that some of our customers, are trying to service a production, show or event, so we understand speed of delivery can be essential.

We use three main carriage services, Royal Mail, My Hermes and TNT, and any other courier will be down to our discretion. Majority of our deliveries will be via Royal Mail, and some of the heavier items will be via My Hermes, so therefore please be mindful that it can take up to 4 working days within the UK. The same may apply to the occasion where we might despatch direct from the manufacturer.

We would like every opportunity to sell to you, so it’s always worth contacting us before making the purchase to advise on the delivery date(if delivery delay should be a concern in the first place). In most cases we would upgrade to a faster service, and will try to bear the costs ourselves. The exception would be the guaranteed next delivery, where an extra cost may apply. TNT are one of the more competitive next day delivery options, but we would need to know by 10.30am that day, or 3pm for Royal Mail.

We are constantly revising carriage methods to ensure the fastest delivery, whilst keeping costs competitive

For any weekend Ebay purchases, the minimum day that we can arrange despatch will be the Monday (or Tuesday if Bank Holiday)

A little bit about us:

Our company is Showbitz Ltd, and we trade from an industrial unit in South Devon.  Our premises, also has a trade counter, so there is an option to collect from us.

As well as providing sales support, we hire equipment to the entertainment industry and provide technical services. We enjoy what we do and endeavour to share our knowledge and experience by providing honest, useful and helpful descriptions within all our sales items here, and of course backed up with any advice we can offer on the telephone. If we go wrong at any point, we would like the opportunity to rectify. Our product range are normally designed for professional use only, so therefore if you intend to use in other applications, such as home it would be advisable to discuss with us to ensure its suitability. This will not affect any regulations concerning distance selling of course.
