he PRS Angelus Cutaway Standard Acoustic-Electric guitar delivers unusual volume and bass and has balance atypical of acoustic cutaway guitars. Though extraordinarily well-suited for finger style players, the Angelus guitar is versatile enough for many kinds of music. The cutaway adds comfort when accessing the higher frets, so you can have full access to the standard Angelus guitar's range.
Paul Reed Smith chose European spruce for the Angelus guitar's top—a rare and highly desirable wood known for its rich, sensitive tone, brilliant harmonic overtones, and light appearance. Mahogany back and sides produce thick dynamic sound, with a good balance of fundamentals and overtones for higher-register soloing.
The mahogany neck adds a slight softness to the PRS Angelus guitar's well-rounded tone. The set neck maintains the guitar's structural integrity, so there's no drop-off in tone. You hear the full richness of this amazing guitar with every strum. The sleek-looking cocobolo bridge and fingerboard offer lasting sustain.
