The 'Tek Sing', or True Star, which sank in 1822 in the South China Sea,with the loss of 1800 emigrants hoping to start a new life in Java and Borneo. The Tek Sing was carrying the greatest cargo of porcelain ever found and was salvaged by Captain Mike Hatcher of Nanking Cargo, who recovered this amazing hoard and brought it to market.These wares were being auction at Stuttgart, Germany in Nov 2000.
