Vintage 18 Gilded 800 Silver Enamel Nautical Maritime Naval Signal Flag Charms

This is an outstanding collection of 18 quality vintage enameled movable nautical signal flag charms from Italy. The charms represent the International standard maritime signal flags for use on ships, boats, or other watercraft to communicate messages. Each flag bears its own telephony code. Code words (Alpha for A, Bravo for B, etc.) were established so that critical combinations of letters and numbers can be pronounced and understood by those who transmit and receive voice messages by radio or telephone regardless of their native language.

Each charm swivels freely from the bar to which it is attached. Additionally, each one is stamped to the reverse with the maker’s name “F. Giorgi,” a registration number, “VI,” which denotes the Italian province of Vicenza, and “800” for Continental silver. The charms measure 5/8" by 1/2", and are gold-plated over the silver. Such a grand collection, and will be magnificent displayed on a charm bracelet!

Payment and Shipping:

I accept payments through PayPal due within five days of auction end. Please wait to pay for your item until all purchases have been made. Since I offer free shipping for most domestic items, this will help me combine shipping to save on costs. Arkansas residents must pay 6.5% sales tax, plus applicable local county tax.

Shipping Terms

Your vintage / antique charm(s) will be shipped within 24 hours (with the exception of weekends and holidays) of your processed payment. For auctions ending on Saturday or Sunday, your charm(s) will be shipped the following Monday. For most domestic purchases, free shipping is offered. For International purchases up to $300, the shipping charge will be $26. For International purchases totaling more than $300, the shipping charge will be $48. This Express Mail service will require a signature upon receipt. For International buyers of multiple items, please do not pay until you receive an invoice.

Please allow approximately four to six business days for delivery of domestic purchases, and 3 - 4 weeks for international purchases. If your package has not arrived within the stated time, please contact me by selecting the option "I have a question about my item," and not "Item not received," as this will prematurely open a case. I can assure you that I will promptly address delays / return requests.

International buyers, please bear in mind that you'll be responsible for your country's duty/vat fees. Please research this fee before making a purchase.
