Antique 20" English Poured Wax Baby Doll in Extra Long 30" Christening Gown circa 1870 with a stamped body.
Antique wax doll with blue glass set eyes, inserted blond human hair and rosy cheeks with a smiling expression on her face. The doll is in overall very good condition with no damage or repair..
Such a pretty face with nice eye brows, and a closed mouth.
There is a discoloration on her right hand fingers which you can see a close up of in photo 13. In picture 8, you can see a manufacturer's stamp where the words Dolls, Toys, & Games appear on the top of the mark of F. Aldis (that would be in the center) over 11&13 and at the bottom Belgrave Mansions S.W.
The doll has a original antique cloth body with upper and lower wax arms and legs with rivets, and a darling beautiful head. Doll has a extra long 30" elaborate beautiful white antique cotton christening gown with a wool slip and eyelet pantaloons.and a darling antique bonnet on her head.
