This simply stunning  & unique lamp has been made from a highly polished DBR9 Aston Martin engine camshaft previously used in a V12 GT1 racecar that raced at the Le-Mans 24 hour race in France (the car in question can be seen in the final photo).

The base plate has been CNC machined from a solid aluminium billet in our racecar repair workshop and we have then finished it off by engraving it with the following information "Aston Martin DBR9 V12 Camshaft - #2 of 24".

To ensure the lamp doesn't mark any delicate surfaces or slide around 6 small rubber 'feet' have been added to the base.

Only 24 of these lamps are being made and each base plate will be individually engraved. However if you'd prefer the base plate without the engraving or would like your own personalized message we would be happy to accommodate that.

Supplied with a very modern looking lampshade made from a perforated & polished stainless steel surround, alternatively it can be supplied with a more traditional black or silver cloth type shade.

It measures approx 34" in height (86cm), the base is 8" in diameter (20cm) and the lampshade is 9.75" in diameter (25cm). Without the shade fitted it stands 29.5" tall (75cm).

The power lead includes and inline on off switch, but if you prefer we can fit a lamp holder that has a switch incorporated into it instead.

The power lead is approx 7 ft (2m) in length, but if you require it slightly longer or shorter just let us know and we'll make it up accordingly.

It is supplied with a standard 3 pin UK plug, however if you require a plug adaptor to ensure it will work in your country then we will include one free of charge.
