Corgi CC15801 Mercedes-Benz Actros (MP4) Super Trailer Pollock Ltd 1:50 Scale

This iconic haulage company was founded in 1935 by William George Dunn Pollock. Today, the third generation of the Pollock family run the business from a purpose-built site in Bathgate, West Lothian, with a fleet of trucks that runs into triple figures. Although a number of rigids are operated, the majority of the fleet is made up of maximum-capacity artics, many of which are top-of-the-range models.

Alongside the latest high-specification Volvos and Scanias, a number of Mercedes-Benz Actros MP4 Gigaspaces operated. In keeping with Pollock’s longstanding tradition, which goes back to the 1960s, each of their vehicles carries an individual name. In a reference to the Mercedes-Benz badge, the first of this type to join the fleet was appropriately named ‘Superstar’, and was registered N88 PSL with fleet number 141. This model represents the truck coupled to one of the company’s latest super trailers, authentically complete with its fleet number on the roof.
