 Here I have an antique solid silver compact. The lid features an intricately chased design of a hunter and a tiger, and there's an emtpy cartouche for the engraving of initials. It opens via a push-clasp and inside, the lid is mirrored and the base contains the original powder sieve.
It's marked as SILVER on the frame holding the mirror and the body of the compact acid tests as silver also.
Measures 7.4cm wide and 1.3cm deep. It weighs a whopping 103 grams.

Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. No dinks or damage aside from a few light pressure marks to the back. Hinge and closure work perfectly. The mirror is nice and clear. Inside has quite a strong powdery smell where I haven't attempted to clean it. Overall, it just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you'd expect on an antique item.
