brand new Alessandro Handwired Fender 68 Princeton Reverb reissue

this amp starts out as a NEW in the box 68 Princeton reverb reissue which comes stock with a printed circuit board

George Alessandro personally does all the work on this:

remove the printed circuit board, pots, jacks and then build a custom board and handwire a blackface Princeton reverb circuit
new pots and parts are used to build this just as if he would be doing a rebuild on a real vintage Princeton reverb
basically building from scratch. just reusing the transformers, chassis and a few other parts. Amps comes stock with Fender Groovetubes

Transformer manufacture code 606 on those transformers indicate Schumacher (the original manufacturer from the 1960's) in Chicago, IL. made in USA. They are not Chinese and are the most authentic transformers for a Deluxe Reverb amp
custom proprietary Alessandro plexiglass board is used to wire the circuit, sprague orange drops,high quality made in Germany proprietary Alessandro filter caps (not chinese) CTS pots, silver plated wire (same as used on Alessandro Workingdog series) switchcraft jacks

upgraded to an Alessandro ceramic 10" speaker (GA10-SC64)

If you don't know the name George Alessandro then let me give you a little history
George has many famous clients: David Gilmour, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, John Mayer, Derrick Trucks, Susan Tideschi, Eric Johnson to name a few are all regular customers of his. He does service work and custom amp builds for all of these players plus many more. I have known George for over 20 years and he is the only guy that I let touch my vintage amps. He has been building custom amps for my store for most of this time also. We have been partnering to have these handwired amps build for about 5 years now. the lastest amps are better than ever
