$10.00 1922 GOLD Coin GOLD Certificate - See photos

This certificate is over 93 years old!  It's a $10.00 Gold Certificate with the picture of "Michael Hillegas" on the front along with a large GOLD Seal and the Roman Numeral X (Ten) in gold print as well. This note was once redeemable for Ten Dollars in Gold Coin as it is stated on the front. The back of the note is printed in an orange-gold color and states GOLD COIN on the bottom of the note.

Michael Hillegas was the first Treasurer of the United States and held this position during the American Revolution.

This HISTORIC note has a good amount of wear from years of circulation, including rough margins and pieces missing on the bottom right side.  Please take a look at the pictures to see this historic note for yourself.

Shipping

We ship all our items via USPS First Class, Priority or Express Mail. We package all the notes in a protective sleeve with a cardboard backing and ship them in a bubble envelope.

Most items shipped within the United States have a modest $2.99 shipping and handling fee. For our International customers, if you purchase multiple items, we will ship all purchases in one envelope so you pay only one shipping fee.  We will ship your item(s) within 5 days from the purchase date. If you plan on bidding on more of our auctions, please let us know and we will hold off on shipping.

Currently our fees for international shipping are $35 to Canada and $65 to all other countries.  These fees are based on the current Postal Service rates.

Terms of Sale

Unless otherwise stated in the sale of the item, we do offer a 14 day refund on all our items.  Just send the item back to us within 14 days of receipt, in the same condition as received, and we will refund your money 100% minus the shipping charge.
