Indian Silver Antique Nepal Choker / Necklace Decorative

The item for sale is an antique early 20^th Century Indian silver stunning choker style necklace. This item is very rare in its detail, style and intricate design.

This item was bought whilst travelling across north India and Nepal It’s made from Indian silver which is similar to 70% Sterling Silver. This item does not carry any haul mark of silver stamp unfortunately as Indian silver is traditionally not marked. Never the less the item is handmade and has wonderful intricate detail and design.  The Necklace is made up of complete separate sections which have individually hand beaten traditional Indian patterns and designs. The connecting support chain part of the necklace has small floral (rose) embossed designs running across each ball. The central section of the chain is also individually placed together and is able to be twisted separately, a wonderful intricate design and very unique. Each part of the certain chain follows designs of flowers with petals and a central bud. The outer part of the flower (bud) has hand etched leaf designs imprinted into each section.

This item shows age and carries a worn patina, even slightly muddy in light green patina. This item has not been cleaned as I feel it looks better with its original aged look. However because this item is sliver in material it can be cleans and would become more pure in its colour. The Item is not broken, bent, damaged or difficult to move around, it super tactile and has good weight (0.12grams).
