Beltline Black tape, for New Mini F56 Hi Quality Vinyl with 5 year external grade guarantee.

BLACK GLOSS ALSO AVAILABLE IN MATTE

This is a Pinstripe exterior detailing material to remove chrome lining surrounding windows

Supplied in a 10m roll and is ready to be applied.

Best to work in sections (door panel etc.) and cut a piece about 1/2' longer than needed and hold it while applying a bit of tension (not too much or it will stretch)

If you use the black rubber lip that wraps over the chrome beltline as a guide to butt up the tape to you will likely have good results.

This kit contains enough to do a full MINI beltline. The Gen1 tape is a semi gloss finish while the Gen2 version is glossy.

This black film covers the stock chrome trim and is nearly identical to the texture and color of the black moldings. The width is perfect to cover the trim just right leaving your car with a little less bling. Kit includes enough film to do one car with a few inches for testing. Applies just like any masking tape. Please note once installed the special protective clear top layer (on top of the black) needs to be removed (only for the Gen1 kit).

Please note on the Gen 2 MINI, the beltline grew (yes, it did get fatter) in both directions as a result the tape is slightly wider so please choose the correct model listing

Fits these MINI models There are 2 widths available: 1/2" for Gen 1 and 5/8" for Gen 2/Countryman MINI

The best way to install this is to pre cut the tape to match the length of each body panel you are working on and leave about 1/2" extra. Start by pulling back about 18" of the backing and adhere the first inch or and put a LITTLE bit of tension on the tape and hold it about 1/4" off the surface while looking down the edge to see how it lines up with the black rubber lip on the edge of the chrome. Twist it just a bit to get the top edge to butt against the black lip and slowly press down on the film towards you. Once it is in place move on to the next span.
