Remains once read - it's from a private collection. It is Tight -  neat, no inscriptions or marks except for the expected ageing signs commensurate with a book of this era(see my close up photos). Appears as in my photos - this is the exact copy!!  A nicely preserved copy - superb! 

Minimal, if any, discernible shelf wear to the actual HARDcover boards themselves, the interior is tight and spotlessly clean with 188 pages showing expected signs of ageing - even age toning to paper and foxing mainly to endpapers(particularly the first blank endpaper). Measures  13cm x 19cm  or  7½  X  5ins.

In original decorative green boards HARDcover binding, in publisher's illustrated dustcover which is in excellent shape - with slight grazes and chips to corners.etc (close ups show the exact condition!)

Katharine Louise Oldmeadow was the youngest child of at least three brothers and five sisters. Little is known of her although she did live in Highcliffe near Christchurch, on the borders of the New Forest, as this is where she died. Katharine used both Chester and the New Forest as locations in her books; she also wrote as 'Pamela Grant'.

Very, very entertaining  read!
