Delivery, terms & conditions:

All items are professionally packaged to a very high standard to help prevent breakages in transit.

In order to keep postage prices down for our customers all items are sent via Royal Mail Second Class Recorded Delivery. If you would prefer your item to be sent via First Class Recorded (or even Special Delivery) please let us know and we will send you a revised invoice.

Domestic items sent with a value of up to and including £100 are sent via Recorded Delivery and require a signature upon arrival.

Domestic items sent with a value of between £100 and up to and including £200 are sent via Recorded Delivery, are tracked and require a signature upon arrival.

Domestic items exceeding £200 in value are sent via 'Special Delivery' which is tracked, requires a signature upon arrival and is guaranteed next day delivery (if posted before 1pm).

Domestic items which exceed Royal Mail size or weight restrictions are sent via an alternate courier. We tend to use UPS which is both economical and reliable but this may vary depending on the items size, weight and value.

International parcels are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed (where size and weight limits allow). Please note that not every country has the ability to track parcels. Some will therefore require a signature only on delivery and will not be tracked once they leave UK airspace. International items which exceed Royal Mail size and weight restrictions will use an alternate courier.

If you have any special requirements for delivery please let us know in advance and we will try to accommodate.

All items are insured for transit. These sensible precautions are reflected in the price for postage and packaging. Proof of posting is always recorded.

We make no profit on postage: Prices reflect the cost of postage and the cost of high quality packaging material for which we add £1.00 to each order.

Please contact us for an accurate postage cost when making multiple purchases as this will increase for heavier parcels. Where possible multiple purchases will be dispatched together in order to reduce costs but in some cases items are individually packaged in the interests of the items safety in transit.

We hope you are happy with your purchases and our service. We aim to dispatch your purchases within three working days of payment but please allow up to seven working days for delivery before you contact us.

Please bear in mind that all products are antique and generally display an amount of superficial wear and tear consistent with the items age and use. It is not therefore possible to list every minor discrepancy, especially where these are almost invisible.

If there are any issues with your item please contact us in advance of return and we will try to address them.
