Large and highly impressive, American half dollar fob (to attach to a pocket watch chain) with big stamped silver mount.

C ~ 1976.

Measures; 4.7cm height (including the top ring), 3.3cm width and weighs a very respectable 15.2 grams.

To the front of the coin is a raised side profile of J.F. Kennedy. Around this is written in raised script; LIBERTY   IN GOD WE TRUST    1776 . 1976.

To the back is a raised decoration depicting Independence Hall and around this is written in raised script; UNITED STATES OF AMERICA   200 YEARS OF FREEDOM  E PLURIBUS UNUM   SGH   INDEPENDENCE HALL   *************   HALF DOLLAR.

Set in a very substantial silver, heavily scrolled mount which is stamped to base; SILVER.

Good robust top ring to attach to a watch chain, neck chain or bracelet.
