This is the RPM RPM70502 Spare Tire Carrier for Traxxas Slash 2WD and Slash 4x4 Trucks. (Requires the use of an RPM bumper - see below. Tires not included).

Convert your favorite short course truck into a full-on desert truck with this cool and innovative Spare Tire Carrier for the Traxxas Slash 2wd & 4×4. Our Spare Tire Carrier is a simple add-on that allows you to bolt on two real spare tires to the back of the truck, perfectly mimicking many popular full-scale off-road desert trucks running in some of the toughest desert conditions out there.

The RPM Spare Tire Carrier consists of a frame and support structure built from the RPM blend of ultra tough and durable nylons so not only will your truck look scale, it’ll still be able to handle the toughest of conditions. We know you want a truck you can run so get out there and bash it! It’s RPM; we can take it. If you’d rather build a shelf queen, we designed our Spare Tire Carrier to mimic the appearance of 2” diameter tubing on a real roll cage so scale appearance is perfect!

Tech Notes:  The RPM Spare Tire Carrier fits the Traxxas Slash 2wd & Slash 4×4 when used in conjunction with an RPM rear bumper (Slash 4×4 – #80122, #80123 & #80125 or Slash 2wd – #81002, #81003 and #81005). The RPM Spare Tire Carrier will not work with stock or any other aftermarket rear bumpers.

Two wheels and two tires in the 2.2”/3.0” size (not included) must be installed in order to satisfy the RPM warranty program. The only wheels with the correct offsets that will work with the RPM Spare Tire Carrier are stock offset Traxxas Slash 4×4 (front or rear), Slash 2wd (rear) or RPM #82332 – black or #82333 – chrome Revolver wheels. Tires must be 2.2”/3.0”, short course specific (not included) with an overall tire diameter of 4-5/16” or 109mm (common to most short course tires). Slightly larger diameter tires may be run if you want the appearance of “flat” tires. Body modification is required to allow the Spare Tire Carrier to fit correctly.

COMBINED SHIPPING

 

Save money on your orders with a combined shipping discount! We are more than happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases to save you money on shipping. We do require that all items must be paid for via a single payment. This makes it possible to match your items up for shipping, and eliminates the extra fees we get charged when separate payments are made -this allows us to pass the savings on to you. If separate payments are made, the full shipping charge for each item will apply. 

How can you get combined shippng?

1) Add all the items you want into your shopping cart. When you are finished shopping, go into the shopping cart (the cart icon is in the upper right hand corner of the ebay page) and click on the "Request Total from seller" link. Then wait for us to send you an invoice with combined shipping. Note: You may have to do this from the ebay US website (www.ebay.com). some international sites do not support that feature. Also, ebay's cell phone App currently ignores combined shipping - so you might have to pay from your computer or froma standard web browser on your cell phone.

2) Have eBay's system can do an automatic combination for you. EBay's system will charge you full shipping for the item with the most expensive shipping and add an additional amount for each item you add to the order. This works well if all items are heavy, or you only have a few items. If you are buying lots of small items, or items that are very different in size,  you will usually get a much better rate using either option #1 or option #3.  

3) You can click "Buy It Now" on all the items you want - but do not pay for them yet. When ebay asks you to pay, instead just continue shopping. When you have agreed to buy all the items you want, click on the "Request Total from Seller" link on one of the order pages, and wai for us to send you a combined invoice.

We offer combined shipping as a courtesy to our buyers - please help us to continue offering these discounts by adhering to the instructions above.

WHEN MAKING PAYMENT

We accept Paypal (Ebay Payments), Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. You must include your shipping address with your payment. If you have special instructions, please contact us before making payment. Please do not use Paypal's "Notes" section on the payment to make special handling requests. We do reserve the right to restrict  payment types or to require verification of identity to help prevent fraud.  Payment must be received within 4 days. After 4 days have passed items will be released to other buyers. 

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Most packages will arrive within 3-14 days. We ship quickly, but have no control over what the carrier does with the package once it leaves our hands. If you need guaranteed delivery by a specific date, please E-mail us for a shipping quote that includes a guaranteed delivery date (such as Express Mail, or UPS 2 & 3 day delivery services).  Shipments to P.O. Boxes may incur additional charges (because we normally ship our heavy items vis UPS or FedEx).

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

***NOTE: The US Postal Service raised their international rates for small items by 30-50% on January 17th, 2016.  We do offer an ECONOMY service as a less expensive alternative - but please see below about tracking and possible transit times BEFORE selecting ECONOMY. **

***THE CANADIAN POST is having labor issues that will likely lead to a strike in September. Work slowdowns by disgruntled postal employees are currently causing LONG delays for MANY packages. Please be aware your package may take a while to arrive until those labor issues are resolved.

We like to keep our items available to buyers across the globe. Please familiarize yourself with the following terms for international shipping before bidding. This will help us keep our items available to international buyers. If you cannot abide by these terms, please do not make this purchase.

• Shipments to the UK, GERMANY, AUSTRALIA, FRANCE and Canada are currently taking a LONG time to arrive. Please expect longer delivery times in those areas.

• International First Class Mail: This service offers an average 5-20 day delivery with in-transit tracking. If a package does not arrive within 30 days, we can arrange for a refund or replacement. We recommend this service or better if you are in a hurry to get your items. 

• International Economy (Standard) Shipping averages 10-40 days for delivery.  Economy is an inexpensive, but slower delivery option. DO NOT USE THIS OPTION IF YOU LIVE IN AUSTRALIA, CANADA OR OTHER AREAS OF THE WORLD PRONE TO LONG DELIVERY TIMES. This is a consolidated service where the post office gathers a bunch of packages going to the same area together to ship in a single container as a bulk shipment rather than shipping each package individually. This makes it much less expensive than regular airmail - BUT IT CAN ALSO TAKE MUCH LONGER because it is routed in the most economical way by the post office (and may be routed through several intermediate sorting centers). This service also offers limited in-transit tracking. The tracking number will not register until it clears customs.  By Selecting this service, you agree to allow up to 40 days for delivery.  If the package does not arrive within 40 days we can issue a refund or send a replacement. PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE THIS SHIPPING METHOD IF YOU CANNOT ACCEPT THE LONGER POSSIBLE TRANSIT TIME OR IF YOU CANNOT ACCEPT THE LIMITED TRACKING.

• We will deliver your item to the post office quickly, but any time you are dealing with two post offices, two governments, customs clearance, and thousands of miles of distance - items can take a while to arrive.  If you need a guaranteed delivery date, please ask for a shipping quote for Express Mail. Please understand that once we give your package to the postal service, we have no control over how the postal service routes your package or how long customs takes to clear the package for delivery. 

• The buyer is responsible for all customs, duties, and taxes (we cannot falsify customs forms, as it illegal to do so - Falsifying a government document carries a penalty of 5 years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine per occurrence.) These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – please do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. As a seller we have no way of knowing if your government will charge you these taxes, or how much they will be. You are responsible for all taxes and duties. 

• Flammable items such as Paints (non-water based or flammable), Fuels, Li-Po batteries and similar items cannot be shipped internationally.

• ***VERY IMPORTANT*** If your address uses more than 40 characters on any line of the address or your address contains special (non-english) characters please contact us before making payment. The shipping software we use will cut off any address line over 40 characters long. If you have a longer address than this, please contact us so we can make proper arrangements. 

• Some countries have restrictions on what may be imported into that country - please make sure you can legally import the item before you bid. Some countries have size restrictions on packages. If you are ordering large items such as airplane kits, please contact us before you bid so we can make sure the item can be shipped to you as there are size restrictions to some countries.

 

 

 P.O. Box, APO/FPO, ALASKA, HAWAII, and US POSSESSIONS SHIPMENTS

Flammable items such as paints (non-water based or flammable), fuels, and similar items cannot be shipped to these addresses due to hazardous materials restrictions. Additional shipping charges may apply to shipments going to these locations because heavy items we ship via UPS/FEDEX ground within the continental US - a method that cannot be used to these locations.  We strongly suggest that you request Priority Mail shipping to APO/FPO addresses as first class mail to these locations can be slow.

The listed shipping and handling charges include insurance against loss or damage for all items (foreign and domestic).

Sales Tax

Buyers in Utah pay 6.85% sales tax as required by state law.
