A lovely and rare pair of Art Nouveau Beatrice Cast Metal Frames - shape number 1043 P.  I understand they were made by John Harper & Co who owned the Beatrice trademark in the early 1900's. I think they are cast iron with a bronzed finish.

They have a great patina and some (blue/green) corrosion which can be seen in the photos. There is a crack to the top right corner of one of the frames however it still retains its strength and is only visible on close inspection.

They measure approximately 11" tall and 9" across with the apeture being 6"x4".  They weigh just over a kilo each!

Thanks for looking.
