• High quality car audio AUX-in / Line-in adapter – for directly wiring your iPod, iPhone, MP3 player, laptop, etc. to your SMART ForTwo (450) or Roadster Car Audio system, as an additional high quality (hard wired) audio input. Provides much better sound quality compared to many of the other in-car accessories on the market.
  
  
• Suitable for the SMART ForTwo (450) & Roadster Radio models ONLY. Other models please just enquire - alternative adapters are available for most now.
  
  
• The adapter is ca. 1.5m long, and utilises only high quality materials, including fully screened, digital grade, OFC audio cable, and a high quality Gold plated and Aluminium 3.5mm stereo mini-jack connector, suitable for a very wide range of AUX sources - and giving the best possible audio performance.

• Installation of the adapter is entirely 'Plug & Play', with one end of the adapter simply connecting into the CD Changer port at rear of the radio / headunit. A straightforward, illustrated, DIY fitting guide is included.
  
  
• Unlike many of the so-called "specialist" adapters available on the net, these adapters have all connections fully soldered & crimped, so do NOT suffer from loose wires, or connections pulling 'free'. Each and every adapter is guaranteed to work correctly !

Please note:

• THIS ADAPTER IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE NEWER SMART FORTWO (451) MODEL - please refer to the other Hi-Fi Links eBay listings for the equivalent Smart ForTwo (451) Adapter.
  
  
• Your SMART radio / headunit should be the Grundig unit, and MUST be suitable for controlling a CD changer.
  
  
• With the adapter fitted, you will be unable to operate / connect a CD Changer as well.
  
  The radio / head-unit will control the audio signal (volume, bass, treble, balance, etc.), but not control an iPod or other audio source device.
  
  
• If you are in any doubt whatsoever regarding suitability of this product for your system - please contact seller before purchasing.
