DESCRIPTION

1.- Vintage typewriter is in very good cosmetic and working condition. None of its nice looking glass keys are missing and all function properly, no sticking, only one type hammer sits a bit above the rest but it doesn't affect performance. The action is quick and the typeface is clean and clear (picture #4). Carriage slides smoothly, bell works without any issues. It comes with a fresh newly installed black ribbon. No cracks, dents or broken parts, minor scratches/scuffs here and there, nothing unexpected from a typewriter made in 1946, just a year after WWII. A true testament of state-of-the-art engineering and high-quality manufacturing in the US at that time. Unlike the latest smartphones and tablets, typewriters were built to last. Made in USA, S/N A-1204643.

2.- The original hard case is in good vintage shape, clean. No cracks or broken parts, but it shows some wear like scratches/scuffs/dings/paint wear here and there. It doesn't come with a key. Approximate measurements are 13" x 12 3/4" x 6 3/4".

This is a rare piece with glass keys, made just a year after WWII ended, and in such great working condition!
