Introduced in July 1976 the SG2000 was the result of the collaboration between Carlos Santana and Yamaha and his suggestions on how to improve the SG 175 design. It remained
the flagship of the Yamaha SG line until the end of production in 1988. It featured a mahogany body with maple top, a through body laminated rock maple mahogany neck and a unique brass sustain block fitted under the bridge.
Overall good condition as vintage, more than 70% fret remaining.
