The kit contains everything you need to complete the project.

1. Colour Coded Canvas - you build your picture onto this self-adhesive canvas.  It is printed in full colour. Every square is individually colour coded and contains a symbol - you simply match the colour and symbol to the corresponding resin tile - therefore,  you will know exactly which resin tile goes where - no need to guess. The canvas has the feel of fabric but in reality it is flexible PVC. Since the canvas is self-adhesive, we recommend that you only pull back a small amount of the protective paper at any one time - this will prevent the damage to the unused areas. 

2. Resin Tiles - your kit includes a generous supply of colour coded resin tiles - just match them to your chart. Each individual tile is diamond faceted - this means that the final product catches the light in a most attractive way - it twinkles.  Each tile measures 2.5mm x 2.5mm. For all you stitchers, that is equivalent to 11 count (11 resin pieces for a 1 inch line)

3. Tweezers and Holder Tray. The tweezers are specially designed for the job.  They work really well but you may also want to read the hints and tips below for some great alternatives.  The holder tray can be used to contain the tiles whilst you are working with them.

The colours are based on DMC embroidery threads.  There are 477 colours available in total. 

There are approximately 35-45 colours in a typical kit - depending on the picture that you have chosen.

Hints and tips for great results - 

-  Decant your tiles onto a square of velvet or felt - this stops them moving around and makes it easer to pick up or turn them.

- I would suggest that you only uncover approximately 1 square inch of the self-adhesive canvas at any one time to protect the unused areas from damage. 

- Just deal with one colour at a time to ensure  that you don't get your colours mixed up.

-  The tweezers work great but if you want to experiment with alternatives - why not try using a small ball of blue tack on a cocktail stick (not supplied).  My mum also recommends that a pokey tool or long darning needle will help you to steer the tile into place.

- You won't get the resin tiles perfectly straight - that's no problem but it is important that you get every resin piece into its own square - stay within the lines. You will find that this is easy and you will quickly become adept at placing the tiles accurately.

Always return unused tiles to their own respective bag before starting a new  colour -  there's nothing more frustrating than mixing 'em all up.
