Theratears Eye drops are a modern preservative-free artificial tear drop (or ocular lubricant).  As well as helping to lubricate the eye it contains a unique combination of electrolytes which lower the osmolarity of the tear fluid, further reducing irritation of the eye.  It can even be used by contact lens wearers to provide improved comfort.

To apply the drops, gently pull the lower lid away from the eye and squeeze a drop or two into the gap between the eye and the eyelid.They can be used as needed, helping to maintain ocular surface comfort.  Consider using Theratear Liquid Gel if you find these drops so not provide enough long-lasting relief.

In preservative-free single-use containers, it is designed to saturate dry eyes, and dilute down the high salt concentration that causes dry-eye irritation.  If you want to treat your dry eyes, “saturation dosing” is a great way to start — split the entire contents of one container between both eyes within a 5 minute period 4 times a day (i.e. 8 am, 12 noon, 3 pm and 6 pm).
