very good, pages are clean and tight no tearing, former owner’s gift inscription inside but no other writing, a few light finger smudges, boards have wear to the corners and edges, some rubbing, spine is covered with clear reinforcing tape
Book Condition Terms:
MINT - as new in all respects
FINE - looks new and is without flaw but has light shelf wear
NEAR FINE - may have an owner's name, inscription or bookplate inside but otherwise in fine condition
VERY GOOD - a clean and tightly bound copy that shows signs of former use - any flaws should be noted
GOOD - a solid copy fit for reading but with more wear, possible markings, small tears, library binding, not as attractive as very good
FAIR - not very pretty but a solid reading copy with multiple flaws such as tears and markings, heavy wear to boards, fraying, etc.
POOR - loose pages, heavy wear, markings and tears, overall ugly
