MANHUNTER (Series Began 2004) Issue #3 comics in Near Mint condition. Published by DC Comics.

Near Mint - Nearly perfect with only minor imperfections allowed. This grade should have no corner or impact creases, stress marks should be almost invisible, and bindery tears must be less than 1/16 inch. A couple of very tiny color flecks, or a combination of the above that keeps the book from being perfect, where the overall eye appeal is less than Mint drops the book into this grade. Only the most subtle binding and/or printing defects allowed. Cover is flat with no surface wear. Cover inks are bright with high reflectivity and minimum of fading. Corners are cut square and sharp with ever so slight blunting permitted. Staples are generally centered, clean with no rust. Cover is well centered and firmly secured to interior pages. Paper is supple and like new. Spine is tight and flat.

Manhunter #3


"Dark Shadows" is written by Marc Andreyko and drawn by Jesus Saiz and Jimmy Palmiotti. Kate Spencer is a hard, tough-as-nails prosecutor. But unable to stand by while super-villains worked the system to escape prison, Kate took on the identity of the Manhunter and outfitted herself with super criminals' weapons stolen from the police evidence room. It is with one of these weapons that her young son Ramsey has just nearly killed himself as he found it while playing in her apartment. At the emergency room while Ramsey fights for his life, Kate clashes with her ex-husband who claims she's lost any legal right to see her son again.

Meanwhile, as the Manhunter, Kate has earned the enmity of the Shadow Thief; a dimension-hopping crook who was the best from of Copperhead. Manhunter took down the reptilian rogue recently, leaving him dead and stuck to the wall of a sewer drain. Now vowing revenge, the Shadow Thief takes the fight to Kate. On a darkened rooftop, a desperate battle of vengeance and survival is played out. It's only by sheer luck and the wonderful weaponry of her Manhunter suit that Kate survives her encounter with the Duke of Darkness!
