Nikonos II underwater film camera
Condition: This camera in excellent cosmetic condition. Works in all modes. Camera advances, 1/30 and 1/500 sec. are distinguishable. Both dog ears are present and not broken, camera can be assembled and disassembled easily. Film counter works. Built-in finder is foggy. 35mm lens in is very good condition. Clean glass surfaces. Distance scale is in feet only.
Sold as a collector item. Vintage cameras are not advised be taken underwater as they require full O-ring service, and those internal O-rings have long been discontinued. Fully working for land use in any rough conditions (waterfalls, showers, rain, snow, etc...).
This Nikonos II underwater film camera does not feature any electronics and is fully manual, from shutter speed to f/stops. It is a small 35mm underwater camera that gives stunning results. Makes a great conversational piece.
