Titanium Hardtail Stratocaster Bridge Plate by RockRabbit Guitars

The ultimate bridge plate upgrade for your hardtail Stratocaster or humbucker 6-saddle Telecaster, our Titanium Hardtail Bridge Plate is crafted in the USA for maximum tone, durability and awesomeness!

Installation

Drilled for the standard 3-hole 1.78" mounting pattern, this Titanium Hardtail Bridge Plate is available in 2-7/32" wide vintage string spacing for center-screwed saddles. If you need a different combination, such as a 2-1/16" narrow string spacing, some unique string or mounting spacing, or maybe you would like to use offset-screwed saddles, then drop us a line at our Custom Shop page! The bridge plates measures about .335" tall, 3" long and 1.5" wide and comes with three stainless steel mounting screws.

RockRabbit Mojo

We make these in house, right here in rockin' Indiana, USA, out of .071" 6Al-4V Class 5 Titanium alloy. The rear lip is specially bent so it lays back by about 5 degrees from vertical and the top corners are also gently rounded, for a smooth feel against your muting hand. Compared to a steel MIM 3-hole bridge plate that’s on our shop bench, this Titanium Hardtail Bridge Plate weighs 60% less! (23g vs. 57g) Titanium is impervious to salt water and can be substituted for stainless steel, with a 200% strength improvement. Compared to 6061 aluminum, titanium is about 60% more dense but twice as strong. In addition, titanium is also biocompatible (it is non-toxic and is not rejected by the body), which makes it a good choice for jewelry or body piercings for people with allergies.

Cheers,
Joe
