Here we have 2 pieces of vintage English pottery ceramic pieces made to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation in 1953.

The first is a breakfast beaker bearing an official design and stamped accordingly to the base by the British Pottery Manufacturers Federation. It has no chips, cracks or crazing and no damage. There are some minor manufacturing flaws. There's one pinhead sized indent about an inch from the top right of the transfer print design, a little indentation to the outer base rim and wear, commensurate with age and being used / moved about to the base rim as is to be expected from a ceramic collectable which is over 60 years old. There is an indent to the inner, top rim, which is actually interesting in some respects as it is most likely to be an indent caused by the potter when producing this. It stands about 10.2 cms tall and weighs 201 grammes prior to packaging. There is a little wear to the transfer print. This is also to be expected.

The second piece is a mug produced by Biltons and stamped to the base accordingly. There's no chips, cracks or damage but some crazing, standard light wear to the base rim and very light wear to the transfer print, which is good quality, all told. Gilding around the top rim is very rubbed and wear, commensurate with use, so it was a well loved mug, well used but despite that, with no damage. It stands about 9.8 cms tall and weighs 285 grammes prior to packaging.
