Original Vintage 1930's Pale Pink Floral Long Night Dress Gown Slip 10 - 12

This stunning night gown is made of a cloth I cannot identify and have never seen in all my years of collecting. it is silky and feels damp and suede-like to the touch, while being highly fluid and figure hugging. The cloth has pretty posies of pink, yellow and blue flowers all over, with a scalloped stitch finish to the edges. It has pretty capped layered sleeves.

The night dress has been photographed on a size 10 mannequin. I would say that it is a size 10 - 12. The chest is gathered and the skirt if cut on the bias, so it is very hard to measure. The armpit to armpit measure would be 37 or 38 inches. And the length of back while on a hanger (so not filled out) is 53 inches.

It seems very wearable despite its age, but there are some issues. They are barely noticeable, but I will list them all to be clear.

Tiny holes to RHS of the bust.
Holes to back hem of skirt.
Some hitching to the front of the bodice and the front of the skirt.
The sleeve cap has come out of the armhole seam in a few places.
The side seams have been re-sewn and are very messy. They need to be re-worked.

Despite all this, it is such a rare and beautiful gown. I hope it finds a home where it can have a bit of tlc and become near perfect again.
