Antique JP Limoges Plates
set of 6

Splendid set of 6 antique hand painted Jean Pouyat Limoges (France) plates, all depicting different sea shells, seaweed, and bits of netting in beautiful detail.  Delicate colors blend light browns, pinks, and violets over a pastel yellow ground. Sculpted edges are gilded.  Every plate is signed and dated by the artist: "Shank IX". All plates are in excellent condition, as shown in photo details, with small areas of paint loss on several of the plates.  Plates are 7 1/2 inches across; each is marked on the back with J.P.L. France mark.  

In three separate listings, I have matching items--5 additional plates, a large platter, and a small oval plate.  I will be happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases.  Should the actual shipping charges be less than the flat rate, I will refund the difference at the time of shipping.
