Description

1- Vintage Royal vintage typewriter in very good cosmetic and working condition.  None of the glass keys are missing and all are fully functional, no sticking.  The action is quick and the typeface is clean and clear.  I would recommend a new ribbon sometime in the near future.  Carriage slides smoothly, bell works without any issues.  No cracks, dents, or broken parts, minor scratches/scuffs here and there, nothing unexpected from a typewriter made in 1946, just a year after WWII.  A true testament of start-of-the-art engineering and high-quality manufacturing in the US at that time.  Unlike the latest smartphones and tablets, typewriters were built to last. 2.- The original hard case is in good vintage shape, clean. No cracks or broken parts, but it shows some wear like scratches, scuffs, dings, and paint wear here and there.  Please see pictures as it should show this.  It doesn't come with the locking key.  Approximate measurements of case are 13" x 12" x 7". 

This is a rare piece with glass keys, made just a year after WWII ended, and in such great working condition.  These are becoming harder to find like this with each passing year.
