This camera body is in good working condition and fully functional, but does have some dust and shows normal signs of wear from use.

I'm only selling it, because I'm upgrading my equipment inventory.  If you don't know why the Nikon D-700 FX camera body complements the D-300 DX camera body perfectly ( I am offering the D-300 body separately,) They make a great pair, when more than one camera body is desired, let me tell you why I chose them.

They are weatherproof ( dust and moisture proof ), built with much more durable materials and have greater shutter life than their less expensive counterparts.

If you want to do professional work and carry two cameras, you are more likely to get a fleeting, award winning photo if you have a wide angle zoom on one camera and a telephoto zoom on the other, rather than have to take the time to change lenses and miss that once in a lifetime opportunity.

I like the fact that the D-700 FX and the D-300 DX  bodies use the same battery and type film media.  Most of the control buttons are similar, so you don't have to learn how to  operate two completely different cameras.  The fact that the D-700 is a full frame camera and the D-300 uses a crop sensor, is a plus, as far as I'm concerned.   This is because a 300 mm lens on the D-300 will provide a similar field of view as a 450 mm lens on the D-700, so I prefer to use my telephoto zoom on the D-300 and a wide angle zoom on the D-700.

Included is the original box the D-700 came in.  Two batteries are included.  One battery charger, one USB cord, and one video cord. No film media is included. The original instruction manual is included for the D-700.

The actual shutter count is 36,119 which is about 24% of this models expected shutter life.
