Echopilot are one of the leading companies manufacturing forward looking sonar technology to enable boat owners to spot underwater obstacles up to 200 metres ahead for safe entry into unknown harbours and anchorages.

The FLS 2D has a back lit transflective 7.0" (18cm) high resolution 800 x 480 pixel TFT LCD full colour display to enable it to be easily read in all light conditions. Eight forward ranges are available 20m to 200m and automatic mode can be selected if preferred. The display will also show a digital reading of actual depth of water to 100m.

These instruments are either ex-Boat Show display models with one or two light scuff marks on the case or, instruments found to have slight imperfections at the final inspection stage of production, which is the reason I have listed them as "new other". Apart from that, they look like new and are packed and boxed as new instruments with display cover, operator's manual and transducer. They are covered by the full Echopilot warranty.

As mentioned above these FLS 2Ds are sold with the standard transducer and plastic skin fitting that will fit hulls up to about 29mm (1.125in) in thickness and will requires a 45mm (1.75in) hole in the hull. For thicker hulls the Professional transducer that is supplied with a bronze skin fitting is available. Cable length is 10m and 10m extensions are available.

The display is supplied with a flush mounting kit to mount into a bulkhead. A stainless steel trunnion mount is available at additional cost of £35.00 if a tabel top mounting is preferred.

The display case is waterproof when bulkhead mounted. Power supply can be either 12v or 24v. Frequency 200kHz.
