Turkish 8mm Mauser Bayonet - M1935 w/ Scabbard - Cutdown Re-issue

Knife bayonet for use with the 8 mm. Mauser M1893 and M1903 rifles.

Markings:

Crescent mark is present on the spine and bottom of lock plunger.  Six-point star on spine and top of crossguard.

The M1935 designation is applied to a broad variety of similarly-dimensioned bayonets constructed using parts from older bayonets.

The wood grips are solid & tight.  Lock button / mechanism is functional.
