This is a very fine and exquisite example of a ladies wristwatch made by the world renowned premier Swiss maker Longines.
It has a platinum case surrounded by very bright and crisp diamonds, the approximate carat weight is 1.5cts.
It retains its original solid 9ct white gold d bracelet which has double safety clasp and fits a wrist size of up to 6 inches but this can easily be reduced by any competent jeweller.
The case is made by Vertex who were regarded as the one of the best platinum and diamond case makers of the 1930 40s and 50s
The case measures 15mm in diameter excluding withe winding crown.
It has a maunal winding calibre 320 movement.
It is quite stunning with a professionally restored white dial so is in perfect condition. A new glass has been fitted and it has been professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
The 17 jewel movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect from Longines the watch is fully marked on the dial and movement.
It comes complete with a presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
Longines are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class, truly a piece of jewellery which will never date.
Overall this watch is in beautiful condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift especially for any lady.
The watch has just been fully overhauled, restored and serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Longines in all respects.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof pressure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
