From an estate in Southern California, father was a long time member of a couple Secret Societies and practiced extensively in the occult over many decades.
It's unique, unusual design, black enamel and brass under the 8 pointed star Signet, was passed down thru several generations of Society members, ring said to be dated to late 1700's, early 1800's.
Similar to the "Very rare antique 17th century Rosicrucian Alchemical Masonic Medal Coin", sold some years ago.
This 8 Pointed Star, blessed and consecrated many centuries ago, has been used by Society Members, Illuminati and Masonic, as a powerful Magickal occult tool for giving power to it's owner in all rituals including summoning Spirits, Entities, Deities, performing spells, bending will, and interacting with the elements.
