This is a kit sold in that era, very rare. One of the rarest and nicest of all collectible cameras, Ducati Sogno. This camera was manufactured by Ducati SSRD, Italy, the same company resposible for Ducati motorcycles. The Sogno is a 35mm half frame camera with coupled rangefinder and interchangeable lens mount. Other lenses are available for this camera which will couple to the rangefinder. The Sogno is very much a scaled down Leica in appearance and build quality is simply superb,with first class rangefinder optics and highly engineered shutter and controls. Shutter speeds run from 1/20th sec to 1/500th and the lens is a Vitor 35mm F/3,5. The camera uses Ducati cassettes which are preloaded with 35mm film to give 24x18mm exposures. Great condition with clean chrome, and all leather around the camera is original. No dents, dings, Clean Body. Lens is clear of mark or fungus. Shutter fires nicely on all speeds. Camera is in full working order. This Ducati Sogno model 6401.1 has serial number 07281 very low number. The rangefinder has contrast and it's precise. The focusing is smooth and all optical system, lens and viewfinder clear and clean. The camera comes with its original leather case,1 cassette for film and the original Lens cap.
