You are looking at a 6005 (EL90 / 6AM5 military specification equivalent) audio output pentode valve / vacuum tube by Z&I Aero Services, new in original box and recently tested, no faults and fully working.

The EL90 / 6AQ5 is a sought after device for medium powered hi-fi systems and guitar amplifiers. They work well in both Class A single ended service with a 4.5 watt output, or in Class AB push-pull, where a pair will deliver a healthy 12 watts.

This particular example is a military specification version, made particularly for aviation use and virtually indestructible! It is of Canadian origian and has the original 6005 marking, still fully readable. It shows about 100% of emission as expected from new, so still plenty of life in it yet!

We will only refund if you return the EXACT SAME VALVE / TUBE to us that you have purchased, with the heater still intact and passing continuity test. Believe it or not, some evil people have tried to send us back their dud tubes to try and get a full refund for a perfectly good tube we have just sold them! So, refund is a genuine offer, but at our discretion that we have been sent back what we actually sold you in the first place and you have not destroyed it through misuse!

PAYMENT: We accept Paypal, cheques in GBP, UK postal orders / bank drafts or wire transfers. Please CONTACT US FIRST before sending payment by a method other than PayPal - there will be a delay in shipping while we clear your payment if you pay using these other methods. We are happy for you to collect from Bristol, but will require payment in GBP cash on collection.
