Nikon F3/T 35mm Camera Body - CLASSIC 1980s FILM SHOOTER - WORLD CLASS STANDARD!

You are viewing a used Nikon F3/T Professional 35mm Single Lens Reflex Camera body in excellent condition. The F3 is an icon. The Nikon F3 was the first choice of professional photographers for over 20 years and still enjoys a well deserved following by devoted film aficionados. Introduced in 1980 and remaining current for 21 years, the Nikon F3 was the third in a series of pro-line flagship Nikon SLRs that now numbers six cameras. It was preceded by the various models of the F and F2, and followed by the F4, F5, and F6. Many of the features and accessories of the F3 were produced in conjunction with NASA for flight on Space Shuttle missions. The F3 flew into space on Space Shuttle Columbia in April 1981, accomplishing the mission successfully and satisfying expectations for 100% reliability without preparation of any backup camera.

A significantly more durable, robust titanium version of the F3HP, the “F3/T" debuted in the more natural titanium finish or 'champagne' coloring. Later versions were dressed in a less conspicuous black. It weighs 20 grams less than the comparable F3. The original version,  appearing in 1982, was quickly discontinued in 1985. It is rarer and generally the more highly prized of the two titanium models. The F3/T features the DE-4 titanium clad viewfinder, a titanium back, top and bottom plates. It also benefits from conformal coating, a thin polymer film which ‘conforms’ to the contours of a printed circuit board to protect the board's components. The mechanical specifications between the black finished F3/T and the natural finish F3/T were identical.

This Nikon F3/T is in well used cosmetic condition. It’s electromechanical functions all perform as they were designed to perform. It’s not new but it works as it always  has and will make any Nikon 35mm shooter’s day…
