The Girard Perregaux F1-2000 commemorates the Formula 1 World Championship year 2000, won by Michael Schumacher in a Ferrari F1-2000. It was Schumacher's first championship with Ferrari and the first driver's championship for Ferrari since Jodi Scheckter in 1979. Fittingly, there were only 2000 examples produced. The commemoration, depiction of the car, and limited edition numbering are on the case back.
