Listing is for a very nice vintage Heuer ladies 756 (precursor to the 1000 series) dive watch.

This is a very rare Pre-TAG Model and is certain to be the only one in any crowd. These are hard to find especially in good running condition with a fully serviced case (see details below).

This was the watch famously worn by Bo Derek (and nothing else, Google it {nsfw}).

This was the first in a long series of robust and stylish dive watches and were initially made in France by Monnin. The "Monnin" watches are quickly gaining value amongst collectors since they are the genesis of Heuer dive watches and not many were sold or survived over the years.

This watch was most likely made around 1978-1980 or prior to the production moving to Switzerland. It features a low 4-digit serial number and the case is marked with the 756 reference number.

This watch features a unique (to the 756 models) cathedral style hour hand and a lollipop central seconds hand. The later swiss versions featured the regular Mercedes hour hand and regular seconds hand. The dial has a lovely creamy patina to the hands and indices (very even too, not splotchy).

It has a stunning black dial that is very unique and really stands out in a crowd. The dial is in excellent condition. Only one very small spot on the dial, otherwise it is immaculate.

This is an excellent example of a rarest vintage lady Heuer diver and if you don't feel satisfied with the condition feel free to return it for a 100% refund.

Case:

1. The watch case is in excellent condition for its age. It doesn't appear to have ever been polished as the contours of the case are intact. 


2. The crystal is brand new and scratch free.

3. The bezel insert is in excellent condition especially when considering the age. It has some very very light fading but otherwise original and very nice looking. 


4. The crown gasket, crystal gasket and case back gaskets are new. These parts aren't easy to come by so having a case that have been serviced is a huge plus. The watch was pressure tested to 100 meters and it passed without issue which should be reassuring to the buyer if they or their significant other will be putting this back into daily use.

5. The automatic movement was recently overhauled (3-16-2017) and is running very well. The receipt for the service comes with the watch. It has a good power reserve and should not need a service for another 5+ years.

6. The original screw down crown is in good working and cosmetic condition (new gasket installed as previous mentioned).

7. Bracelets/Straps:

The jubilee bracelet is genuine Heuer and is also in excellent condition. These aren't found together very often and it is the most desirable bracelet for these divers.

Also included are a NOS rubber dive strap (This is THE period correct strap for these watches and are quite popular) and two vintage style perlon straps in Black and Tan (tan was chosen due to the style of strap Bo Derek was wearing in her famous picture featuring this type of watch).
