Making an Offer:

This item is here to sell!

This listing was posted on 23 March 2017.

If it hasn't sold by March 30, it will be relisted and Best Offer will be activated. Until April 29, 10% will be the maximum reduction, unless you are buying several items together, in which case see below.

After that, if it's still here, try your luck!!

Extra Discount for Offers on Two or More Items Together:

Until March 30, we'll happily accept offers of 10% discount when more than one item is being bought at the same time. Then, until April 29, 15% will be the maximum 'bulk' discount. After that, again: try your luck!!

We'll also work out the correct effect on P&P charges for bulk buys - for UK buyers, this may well include a further discount.

Postage and Related Charges:

Not all postage options are shown for all countries. Please ask for exact quotes for YOUR country.

Postage for more than one item at once:

We always combine multi-purchases into one package where size and weight limits allow. Please contact us in advance of purchase if you want to know exactly how much postage will be before you buy, or simply make your purchases and then wait for us to issue you a revised invoice showing the correct postage. If you would rather not wait, we promise that if you pay too much postage we shall refund the over-payment.

Insurance:

Should you be unlucky enough to have your package damaged, stolen or lost en route, we will claim on insurance and refund you. Please be aware that this process can take some time, especially when the loss occurs overseas. We'll keep you informed throughout.

Guarantee:

Everything we offer on eBay comes with a no quibble, money back (less auction fee and carriage in certain circumstances) GUARANTEE. Read our feedback - you will see we have had a couple of instances where this guarantee has been called upon and we did not hesitate to honour it.

We want every buyer of ours to be able to buy with confidence and then to be happy with all purchases.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE, if you are unhappy in ANY WAY, contact us FIRST, we will do our reasonable best to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.

Returns:

Returns are accepted under the UK's distance selling legislation. Providing the item is returned in EXACTLY the same condition as when sent, the amount paid for the item (but not carriage) will be refunded. If we agree that an item is to be returned due to misdescription or other error on our part we will refund ALL payments including return carriage.

Would you like to help our Cancer Charity?

I was diagnosed with a tumour in my gullet in 2008. This is a particularly nasty cancer, of which there are about 8500 UK cases a year (and over 7000 deaths).

Surgery is the only cure, for those few lucky enough to be suitable (as I was), removing some or all of both the stomach and oesophagus. To make matters worse, life after this surgery is full of challenges, particularly digestive.

My wife and I were helped enormously through our cancer journey by a little known charity called the OPA, the Oesophageal Patients Association, created by a surviving patient nearly 30 years ago to provide help and support to new patients.

As I recovered, I was driven by a strong need to give back. The nearest support group I had been able to attend had been a 100 mile round trip so I set two up in the East Midlands, where I was then living. For a while, I also joined the national committee, to help the charity achieve some of its aims, namely to:

1) SAVE LIVES through earlier diagnosis, by a campaign promoting awareness of such symptoms as long term heartburn.

2) Further advances in the quality of life of survivors through greater understanding of how to cope with the challenges of upper GI surgery.

3) Offer more support to more patients and carers by improving the branch network, the national help line and the website.

Simply Google OPA if you want to learn more about the charity. You can help the OPA by donating, or buying some of their merchandise, through their website. Or please do get in touch if you would like to help in any other way.

Thank you.
