Get out your metal tape measure (which will be a bit difficult to wrap around your head, but it works) or a cloth tape measure. The circumference of the head should be measure at a point approximately one inch above your eyebrows in front and at a point in the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement. Take several measurements to confirm the measurement.

Description:
I have been riding for the past two years and probably had about 3 different motorcycle novelty helmets. One had improper fitment to my head, and the other one had scratches, and the third one has been just uncomfortable, that just shows how picky I am when it comes to my gear.
But I think I have finally made up my mind to switch from the imperfect, terrifying flawed riding experience. Each time when I had to wear a motorcycle helmet to test it out I felt like the helmet made me look odd with that weird looking thing shaped on my head. This defective flaw had to come to an end.
