1986 International Year of Peace - Australian $1 coin - circulated

1986 was proclaimed the International Year of Peace by the United Nations and this was celebrated in Australia with a circulating one dollar design featuring a peace dove, hands and a wreath. These iconic peace symbols incorporated into the design by Horst Hahne put forward the values of the United Nations to continue peace efforts wordwide as not only an achievement but a continuing goal. A goal also for ourselves as a nation within the UN. There were a total of 25.2m of these coins minted by the RAM.



Note that these are images of the coin design and not the actual coin being purchased. These coins have been taken from circulation and will show signs of wear. 


Payment Policy

Payment can be made by PayPal or direct bank deposit and unfortunately I cannot offer payment on collection. All items are to be paid for within 48 hours of the auction close or items will be re-listed and non payment will be issued. If you have a need to delay payment please contact me on the details found below.

Shipping Policy

All items are sent using Australia Post and where available the tracking number will be provided. Items above a certain value will be registered/Insured which will be present in the shipping total at checkout. If you are purchasing from overseas and would like a shipping quote, please either use the postage calculator from Australia Post https://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/calculate-postage-delivery-times/#/ or contact me via email.

Returns policy

If you are not happy with your purchase please contact me at the first instance. Happy to discuss a return however, postage to be at the expense of the buyer and a 5% re-stocking fee may be applied.
