It has been quite a while since I last listed an Omega Dynamic, but they always seem to be popular, so I have decided to list a few more here on ebay starting with this stunning gentleman's example with the desirable 'racing' dial.

Omegas have an excellent reputation in modern times, and quite rightly so. They have been producing highly desirable watches since 1848 and obviously continue to do so today.  They represent excellent value as vintages, as of yet not commanding the second hand values of their counterparts, certainly not the prices they often deserve.  As the prices of new Omegas increase, the impact on vintage Omegas follows.

The first wave of Omega Dynamics were launched in 1969 and there superb design soon led them to be Omega's top selling watch.  However, by 1975 in the US sales had slumped and the line was stopped before being resurrected some 9 years later in a quartz format, and once more at a later date around 1997 a third wave arrived.

This is a highly collectable, all-original Omega Automatic Geneve "Dynamic" dates from circa 1972 and has a desirable (original) racing dial.

Omega specifically designed the huge case shape (41 x 36 mm excluding winding crown) for added comfort on the wrist, and their attention to detail and innovation certainly did not rest there for the Dynamic.  The case was hermetically sealed (hence no movement photo) allowing the watch to reach depths of an impressive 30 metres and remain waterproof when new. The case condition as with the dial is superb for its age.

Further innovation can be seen through the bracelet, it is a one piece that encircles the sealed movement and is screwed in place by a steel ring.  Simple, yet fantastically effective in terms of waterproofing.  Many Dynamics came on the less desirable 'Corfam' leather-like straps, an original steel bracelet (for up to an 8 inch wrist) is a real plus and a valuable item in its own right.

The stunning dial is completely original and has never been re-finished.  "Omega Automatic Geneve Dynamic" reads across the dial in black print with the Omega logo above.  The hands are all in white with a vivid orange centre sweep seconds to match the hours.  Please also note the quick-set date feature.

Dynamics in good, all-original condition are hard to final.  Examples in physical auctions have been known to top £1000GBP.

Timekeeping and reliability are excellent as one would expect from a watch of this stature, it was last serviced in 2016.
