This is actually a 1940s/50s biscuit barrel but it came from an old pub where it had been used as an ice bucket for decades.

It has a blank cartouche shield and metal handle, lid and rim, all of which are chromed.

It is completely practical for use, either for ice or biscuits with a ceramic inner.

It would make a great display item on any drinks cabinet ,in a retro man cave, home bar, den or snug and it would be a great prop for any production set in the period.

In GOOD vintage condition. With all the signs of age you would expect from an item which has been in a pub for decades. Clean and completely usable but the ceramic interior is crazed and marked, but not actually cracked or chipped. Please remember it is well over 50 years old if not 70. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS.
